Ward Rauws is Assistant Professor at the Department of Spatial Planning & Environment, Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. His research interests include urban and peri-urban transformations, urban planning and governance, and self- organization and complexity science.<\/p>\n

He is the coordinator of AESOP\u2019s thematic group Complexity & Planning and cofounder of Young Planners Society Ekistics. He also lectures in courses on urban design, neighbourhood revitalisation and planning theory, and coordinates\u00a0the international Master\u2019s programme in Environmental and Infrastructure Planning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
